Now successfully offered since 2012, the Power Stage ES-8R Power Distributor is a powerhouse designed to fit comfortably in small spaces and can be used to isolate digital gear from analogue gear. Designed around very high-current demands, large power hungry power amps, integrated amps and receivers are very much at home here due to the ES-8R's high-current capability but sensitive lower power devices are equally at home. The ES-8R begins with a extremely solid machined aluminum chassis. Internally, the ES-8R uses a series of pure 100% OFC 10awg Copper multi-sized conductors wrapped in a Teflon-Polyethylene Ultra-High Temp 600v capable jacket, the same conductors used in our Black Series Power Cable. Zero energy bleed is attained within the conductors so there is no energy loss through the insulation keeping all the power on the actual conductors. Custom-Twin deep Cryo-Treated, Proprietary Electro-Harmonic Pulse Treated Extra Heavy Duty, Audio Grade Leviton Duplexes take care of the heavy work. The ES-8R also employs an additional internal balance run of specialized secondary conductors designed to regulate speed and accuracy while maintaining that Ultra-High Current Draw. No power amp is too large, the ES-8R is a straight through design with zero sonic signature and zero added resistance points or filters, not need here! Extremely open and transparent with a dramatic increase in depth and width of the sound stage, the noise floor becomes almost non existent. Mid and high resolution is stunning with incredible imaging and speed. Low end definition is very extended but remains fully balanced and tight with zero exaggeration across the frequency spectrum while maintaining stunning detail.
